One way to increase your wealth, and save time, is by buying and selling on ebay as part of your personal finance equation.  You can make money on eBay; and I will show you how with these tips to get you started selling on eBay successfully.

First, find your niche on eBay:

•    Start out with what you know i.e. collectibles, clothes etc.

•    Spend some time finding how much items in your niche sell for on eBay

•    Knowing the value of items you are buying and selling is critical

•    Don’t just buy things at estate sales or thrift sales thinking you can resell; that could end up being a huge waste of money. Buy things you know will sell.

I buy my fishing tackle and bait on eBay this saving money on gas; and sell the baby clothes our children have grown out of.  A friend of mine sells baseball cards on eBay from his personal collection.  The key idea is we know our niche to make money and save money on eBay.

You can make money selling items on eBay with these simple tips:

•    Get a good digital camera

•    Take good pictures

•    Study a top seller in your niche to see what categories they use

•    Study a top seller to see what they charge for shipping and handling

•    Study a top seller to see how they describe the item in the title

*    Be honest with your description

•    A great title will get more people to your auction and make you more money

•    Make sure you can safely ship your items and have the shipping materials

•    Use honest shipping and handling fees

•    For expensive items use delivery confirmation and insurance

•    Buy low and sell high (take into account listing and selling fees)

•    Spell well and use good grammar

•    Give feedback

•    Know your niche; sell what you can find and unload at a descent price

Once you have found your niche and know your products you are ready to set up an eBay seller account.  They have very easy steps that do take some time to complete, but once they are set up you can start buying and selling.  Buying and selling on eBay is not as easy as some people make it out to be, but if you know your niche, and research a top seller in your niche, you can learn, grow and make money on eBay.
